ABOUT THE REALESTATEGIRL

    I grew up in Montreal, Quebec, probably the most vibrant and cultured city in Canada. 

Unfortunately, the job opportunities were scarce and after graduating from Concordia University in 1996, I moved out to Calgary Alberta.

    We all heard that Calgary was “THE PLACE TO BE” for opportunity and growth, which was definitely the case. Homes and businesses were going up like mushrooms in this oil and gas city and it seemed that there would be no end to this boom. 

It was easy to find work, especially with a university degree and French as a second language. 

Unfortunately, no matter what type of occupation I had or what the salary was, I was not fulfilled. 

    While sitting in my office, working for Shell Canada as a production accountant, I would browse the MLS all day long. It must have been a sign... Here it was, month end, deadlines 

and I couldn’t care less. I received my little severance package and I was on my merry way.

     I will never forget the first day of the Real Estate Course when the instructor said to all 30 of us “Only 4 out of you are going to make it.” 

I looked around and said to myself, “who are the other 3?”

I vowed to myself that as a realtor I was going to stay true to myself  and conduct business with:

Buying and selling a home can be very stressful for many. I am there to facilitate every step of the transaction, as well as assist with mortgage companies, lawyers, home inspectors, interior decorating and renovation.
